PowerPoint Presentations
PowerPoint presentations provide a good way to teach visual learners. Presenting material in this manner allows for pictures, equations, and videos to be included. Students can easily follow the lecture and take notes based on what is given to them on the slides. Below is a PowerPoint presentation I created involving the properties of triangle congruence.

Lesson Plans using Technology
Below are a few lessons that use technology in the classroom. One is the lesson plan for an activity involving quadrilaterals. It is an exploratory activity that uses Geometer's Sketchpad to allow students to explore various quadrilaterals and their properties. In the end they will realize which shapes contain each property and how that impacts what other shapes they can create. Another uses a PowerPoint review of truth tables and conditional statements that students use to build a flip book with. Check out the lessons themselves below.

Teaching Video - Finding the Slope of a LineThe following video was self created and displays my ability to utilize technology to teach a concept to the students. In this video I am teaching the concept of slope by starting with a concept they are familiar with, the slope-intercept form, and moving into the different ways to write slope. At the end of the lesson, I walk through a practice problem with the class.

Reflection
I chose to include these different types of media because they each demonstrate my ability to teach students effectively. The lesson plans demonstrates my ability to create effective technology lessons, the video is a demonstration of how I can teach using technology, and the PowerPoint is a good way to teach students in a way that they will understand it. Teaching itself can always be improved and educators should constantly be looking for newer, more creative ways to instruct their students.
I feel that teaching should be expressed in as many ways as possible, which is why I chose to display how I teach in these four different medias. As our world continues to go even more digital it is important that we, as future educators, learn how the new technology works and find a way to have it benefit the students in the classroom because all students deserve to learn in a beneficial, enriching, and enjoyable way.
